London: Old & New

Tower Bridge & City Hall

While visiting the Tower of London this spring we toured the White Tower
and I found this great vantage point looking across the Thames
with a view of both Tower Bridge and City Hall.
I loved the windows in White Tower framing the contrasting
views of London with the historic Tower Bridge and the modern City Hall building.
The cloudy day provided added interest for me.

  1. Interesting maths here... City hall is a liitle over 10 years old. The bridge is a little over 100 years old. The building you're in is nearly 1000 years old.

Great shot of the ages of London.
