Week of 9 Oct 2011
Spring in Fall...
I've been on the road and am not caught so I've dug into the archives for a few images
for this weeks post. The theme this week is British Gardens and the
Nice images, Cheryl. I like to soft colors and the composition. I keep meaning to get up to the Bronx Botanical Garden, but just never seem to get around to it. Be well on the road :-)
This fall (autumn! lol) has been a strangely warm one so far. (not complaining). These images really are beautiful. I like how you have mixed the classical architecture with the flower gardens. That gorgeous sand stone looks great alongside the greenery. These all look quite magical (in a fairytale kind of way).
You have a nice range of subject matter to your portfolio.
Appreciate the comments. I love the european architecture and having it with the flowers adds a gentler, softer feel to the image. @ Bill - seems the warm autumn may be on the way out. Starting to get a bit of a chill in the air... in a nice fall/autumn kind of way :)
